Telnet Server

How to configure telnet in redhat 

• open terminal 
• type command on root       # gedit /etc/xinetd.d/telnet 

• go to menu bar then click Search & Replace 

• type yes in search box then type no in replace box
• click on Replace all tab

• ok

• Close

• Save

• type this command in terminal 

          # service xinetd start 

• On Window client

  ping from telnet server and type telnet (telnet server ip) in run

• Give user name and password
